Visit the final resting place of Bonnie Prince Charlie's Jacobite army, a desolate stretch of moorland at Culloden which looks much as it did in 1746 when Bonnie Prince Charlie’s Jacobite Uprising was finally crushed; explore the impressive fortifications of Fort George, one of the most outstanding fortifications in Europe built in the wake of the Battle of Culloden as a secure base for King George II’s army; and discover Cawdor Castle, known for its literary connection to Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

Highlights include:

  • Visit to Culloden Battlefield
  • Visit to For George
