  • £13.00 per hour

    All applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK.

    Supervisor operates in all departments. This includes the bar, housekeeping, and front of house, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and handling customer queries and grievances.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress.

    • Briefing their teams on new initiatives, changes to targets and company news

    • Maintaining safety standards, conducting risk assessments, ensuring staff have adequate first aid and fire safety training

    • Filing in for absent employees and assisting teams as needed to successfully complete tasks.

    • Devising work schedules and implementing deadlines

    • Ensuring that quality standards and company policies are upheld

  • £11.50 per hour

    Key Responsibilities include housekeeping, front of house, taking food and drink orders, serving meals, serving behind bar and ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from all areas. Ensure awareness and compliance with all Health & Safety work practices.

    The ideal candidate for this position: must have a positive attitude and be guest oriented with a passion for the hospitality industry. Previous experience is ideal but not vital as full training will be provided. Take pride in the work, having an eye for detail, working quickly and efficiently, being able to multi-task. Be happy living and working in a rural situation.

  • £11.50 per hour

    As a Hotel Porter, you will support the Front of House team in the effective running of all check in/check out to ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism. This role is one of the most important within the hotel as you will be interacting with our valued customers constantly throughout the day. Therefore, a friendly and positive outgoing nature is required with knowledge of the local area as you will often have to advise guests of local attractions, restaurants and travel.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assisting the General Manager with all arrivals and departures to the hotel.

    • Maintain an exemplary knowledge of all food & beverage.

    • Be the first face of the hotel as guests arrive / depart.

    • Assisting the Food & Beverage Team with restaurant hosting, bar duties and restaurant service as required.

    • Completion of daily checklists for the General Manager.

    • To adopt a flexible approach and assist in different areas of the hotel as business and customer needs dictate.

    • Assist with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready on time for guest’s arrival.

    • Carry out all reasonable management requests.

    To ensure that all guests receive a warm, memorable and personalised welcome to Blancos, Setting the scene for their stay and ensure that guest needs are anticipated and that any requests are actioned. Complete tasks accurately and within given deadlines. Be responsible for the security of the hotel and its guests overnight, and to set breakfast room to standard.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Security of building & guests

    • Setting up restaurant for breakfast

    • Serving drinks in the bar

    • Cleaning all public areas.

    • Taking telephone calls

    • Must be customer service focused

  • £12.50 per hour

    As a Breakfast Chef you will assist the Head Chef to ensure in the smooth running of the food offer in the hotel during this service. To effectively support the kitchen team to achieving the highest standard of food production. To control and manage the food cost in line with the budget, and to control production and portions in line with agreed specifications. The breakfast chef must be able to solve problems quickly and in a professional and pleasant manner. Be initiative, have self-discipline, effective communications and organisational skills

    Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing the food for cooking

    • Keeping up with industry trends and creating new recipes with the Sous Chef

    • Reviewing the menu and doing inventory

    • Following the budget

    • Ordering food for the kitchen

    • Monitoring food production

    • Training staff

    • Managing relationships with distributors and resolving any issues with vendors, promptly

    • Ensuring standard portions and quality of dishes

    • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen

    As a Chef De Partie you will assist the Head Chef to ensure in the smooth running of the food offer in the hotel. To effectively support the kitchen team to achieving the highest standard of food production especially in the Head Chef’s absence. To control and manage the food cost in line with the budget, source ingredients in accordance with the Company’s sourcing policy and control production and portions in line with agreed specifications. The Chef de Partie must be able to solve problems quickly and in a professional and pleasant manner. Be initiative, have self-discipline, effective communications skills, and the ability to organize and direct the work of others.

    Responsibilities include:

    • To work with the restaurant team to understand customers expectations, comments and to handle any complaints to satisfy the customer promptly.

    • To consistently prepare and cook all food to the standards and dish specifications, and train the team to do the same

    • To be hands on and present during the busy service periods

    • To be a team player at all times and be prepared to be flexible in order to ensure that all operations are always guest-focused, efficient and profitable as possible.

    • To ensure that the hotel’s Health & Safety Policy and Food Safety Management System are adhered to in the kitchen including all related paperwork checks and record keeping

    • To ensure that the kitchen team are fully prepared, stocked and set for service.
